The 9th annual Currie Beer & Curry Festival will be held on Friday 5th &
Saturday 6th June 2020 at the Currie Community Centre

Yes, for the eighth (check!) consecutive year, the biggest party in the Pentlands is back. Our annual celebration of beer and curry will be better than ever this year, and the selection of fine ales and wines has already begun. Two fabulous nights of beer, wine, music and dancing await, so buy your tickets soon here.

This year’s event is on 5-6 June, with doors opening at 6pm on the Friday and 5:30pm on the Saturday. Food will be available from 8pm, though once it’s gone, it’s gone!

Early bird ticket price of £11 are still available by clicking here. This gets you entry and 4 1/3rds of beer. Closer to the date, the price will rise to £16 will rise, so move fast. The tickets are a little more expensive this year, but you get an extra beer token for your money too, so it’s still awesome value. You can also buy your food and additional drinks tokens in advance, and save money on those too. On the night, it’s a little more expensive, but no more than you’d pay in your local, and you’ll be helping to raise money for local good causes. The more people come, and the more you drink, the more we raise!

Doctor Beer is already intensively researching our beer list (it’s a tough job, but…), so we expect to have a huge range of beer from the lightest pale ale to the really dark stuff. There will be a great selection of ciders too, and of course some great wines, red, white and fizzy. Of course, we’ll offer soft drinks (and FREE tap water!) to help folk drink responsibly.

There will of course be lively entertainment from our house bands, to ensure the night goes with a swing. Curry will again be supplied by MacKenzies Catering, and served in the theatre room of the Community Centre.

CBDRT can’t do this without you (there’d be too much beer for just us), so tell all your friends and neighbours to buy their tickets soon. Come and support the premier social event of the year in Currie – you’ll have a great night, and help to raise lots of lovely money for those who need it most.
