Gift Aid your donation

If you are a UK taxpayer, CBDRT can claim an extra 25p from HMRC for every £1 you give — at no extra cost to you. All we need is your name, your home address, and the tick below.

We claim the Gift Aid ourselves, so every penny of it reaches local good causes. Your address is needed only to identify you to HMRC as a UK taxpayer; see our privacy policy.

Which donations should this cover?

Your Gift Aid declaration
I want to Gift Aid my current donation and any donations I may make in the future or have made in the past 4 years to CBDRT. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. Please notify the charity if you: want to cancel this declaration, change your name or home address, or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains. If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

A Gift Aid declaration must come from one named individual — we cannot accept a joint or company declaration, so please fill one in each. Gift Aid can only be claimed on gifts, not on anything you receive something in return for (a beer festival ticket, for example).
